Mermaid Lori swimming in Hawaii

Here are some nice photos I got from a Happy Mermaid.

Lori Pappajohn and Annette Johnston of Mermaids International recently spent two weeks in Maui doing both underwater and above water photo shoots. Here their pink tails are seen in the clear blue waters of Molokini. Tail on the left was made by 3 Fins.

Mermaid: Lori Pappajohn
Photographer: Annette Johnston
Location: a deserted black sand beach just north of Ukumehame Beach, Maui

Lori & Annette discovered a beautiful black sand beach which was deserted. There was a reef out a ways which sheltered the beach, so the only waves that came in were soft and gentle. The water was as warm as a bathtub. They shot just before sunset when the light has that lovely golden hue.

Says Lori: "Thanks 3-Fins for making such a gorgeous tail!"

Writes Lori Pappajohn about another one of her photo shoots in Maui last April:

Another favorite place we love to shoot is "The Cove" in Kihei. This is a tucked away corner that most people don't know about. Usually it's fairly calm, but on this particular day the wind was up and the waves were crashing. Several times large waves rushed up the sand and almost dragged me out to sea.  I like the feel of this photo -- with the mermaid looking longingly at the churning sea.

I must say that this hot pink tail that Monika of 3-Fins made me is amazing. The fit is perfect -- and the color is electric! It's a huge favorite with kids. I'm so glad I found 3-Fins!!

Thank you Lori!!!
